Not likin the holiday baggage. +4. I suck.
Negative numbers never looked so attractive.
Oddly enough, I went up to level 6 on the elliptical and never broke a sweat. What's the deal here?

slow start
Three weeks have passed and I have little to show for it: down 5 lbs, fluctuating between +/- 1 lb, and damn the holiday weekend for the indulgence of cookies and homemade chocolate ice cream. My current diet is majorly made of suck.
I really need to get started on my physical therapy again -- I lost so much weight when I was in PT for my knees.
And where in the hell is my blogging cohort?

excuse me as i wax philosophical.
“We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.” -- Carlos Casteneda
I'm 23 years old and heading into student teaching. The Praxis this Saturday determines my fate for the next six months of my life.
I want to teach special education -- I don't want a classroom full of kids, I want the unexpected. I want to figure it out as I go. I want to pursue a serious career in music, sooner rather than later, but I'll settle for teaching music in the meantime. I want to learn ballet. I have a curiosity for science and medicine, and I'm a little scared it's turning into a fascination which could turn into a passion. I guess I have dreams that just won't quit.
My dad was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and that changed my life.
I'm starting at 5'3" and 235, and that's going to change, too.
